A catch-all mailbox receives messages sent to invalid email addresses under the same domain. For instance, an email message sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will be delivered to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can get email messages from mates or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an obsolete one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at some point you may start receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be redirected to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You’ll be able to set up a catch-all e-mailbox without effort if you’ve got a cloud hosting account with our company. The Email Manager in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is fully featured, yet remarkably intuitive, and it will enable you to enable various options, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve got will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and on the right-hand side of each of them you’ll see a small-size "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will activate this feature, clicking on it once more will disable it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain, our system will notify you if you’ve already got a different mailbox with this option activated or if you’ve got active email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than one click if you have a Linux semi-dedicated hosting with us and your emails are handled by our cloud hosting platform. All the email addresses that you create with any domain name hosted in your semi-dedicated account will be listed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. Each of them will have a mini "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to enable this functionality will be to click on that icon. In the same fashion you’ll be able to disable the feature, if you don’t need it any longer. Our system will let you know in case you are trying to enable a 2nd catch-all email address for a given domain name or if there’s activated email forwarding, but it’ll never alter or deactivate any feature automatically or without your approval.
